This Version of Unity™ Practice Management Docs is dependent on Unity™ Practice Management Core V4.28 or higher
NEW FEATURES
iManage Dynamic Foldering
Who can benefit from this feature: iManage Customers
Introduces dynamic foldering support for documents uploaded from Salesforce (Unity PM) to iManage. Documents can now be filed directly into a specified iManage folder at upload time, instead of always defaulting to a single folder.
What’s new
- Extended the existing iManage Upload Invocable Apex action to accept an optional Folder Path parameter
- Enables documents to be uploaded directly into firm-specific folder hierarchies
- Fully backward-compatible — existing uploads without a folder path continue to use the default folder
Folder Path Format
- Folder paths must be provided using / as the separator
- Paths are case-sensitive and must exactly match iManage folder names
- Supported formats:
- Parent Folder
- Parent Folder/Sub Folder
- Parent Folder/Sub Folder/Sub Folder
Limitations & Notes
- Dynamic folder resolution supports up to three (3) nested folder levels
- Deeper folder structures are not recommended to avoid Salesforce governor limit impacts
- If the folder path is missing or cannot be resolved, the upload will fall back to the default folder behaviour
