Quick Precedent Generation
You can now create precedents directly without needing to open the Preview screen or manually select related list records.
| For Administrators: To enable this feature, navigate to the Lightning page layout for the object where you generate your precedents. Select the "Precedent Selector" component and check the “Enable Quick Generate” box to reveal the feature. |
Special Use Precedent Data
A new “Special Use” checkbox field is now available in the Precedent Data page, allowing selected system object data to be used in Docmosis mapping. This data is dependent on a new "Source" field picklist to capture your Organisation name.
|
For Administrators: The "Special Use" and "Source" fields can be added to the Precedent Data's page layout via Object Manager. Permissions to access these fields are automatically set in the NebuLAW Docs Permission Set. If you do not use the native NebuLAW Docs Permission Set, you will need to add the field permissions to your firm's custom Permission Set. |
Dynamic Letterhead Management
The use of Dynamic Letterhead variables now allows for standardisation of Precedent document generation through Docmosis.
How will this work?
This feature will give your firm the option to apply your Stationary Letterhead (stored in Docmosis), across all precedents that references the Docmosis file path of your Stationary Letterhead. This will replace the need to manually apply the letterhead to each individual precedent template.
Please note, if you want to use this feature, your existing relevant precedent templates will need to be updated to remove the letterhead, and instead reference the Stationary Letterhead Docmosis file path.
This feature will be beneficial when making changes to your letterhead details, allowing for only a single change to your Stationary Letterhead document, rather manually updating individual precedent templates each time a change occurs.
|
For Administrators: Please contact unitypmsupport@dyedurham.com to provide and request that we set the Docmosis Stationary Letterhead file path in your firm's Custom Settings. We recommend storing the Stationery Letterhead template in a dedicated folder that remains unchanged. Moving the file to a different location will alter its file path and require all precedents that reference the original path to be updated. |
Separate iManage Admin Credentials
You can now configure a dedicated iManage Admin Named Credential specifically for background processes (e.g., automatic workspace creation).
What does this mean?
You will have the ability to link your iManage Admin user to Unity PMS background process. For example, a user will be able to create a new workspace, regardless of the individual
|
For Administrators: Navigate to Setup > Named Credentials. Add a new External Credential called "iManage Admin", copying your existing iManage External Credential setup. Add a new Named Credential called "iManage Admin", copying your existing iManage Named Credential setup, and selecting the new "iManage Admin" External Credential. Once both the Named Credential and External Credential are created, click back into the new "iManage Admin" External Credential. Create a new Principal with the Identity Type of "Named Principal". Authenticate the new Principal with your iManage Admin account credentials. Once the Admin Named Credential has been successfully set up, please contact unitypmsupport@dyedurham.com and we will then update your firm's NebuLAW Connection Settings with the new credential to complete the configuration. |
Default Folder Name for iManage Uploads
You can now define your own default folder name for uploading documents into iManage through custom settings.
| For Administrators: To change the default iManage upload folder name, please email unitypmsupport@dyedurham.com and request that your preferred name be configured in your NebuLAW Connection Settings. If this field is left blank, the folder name will default to 'NebuLAW Uploads' when new workspaces are created through the integration. |
Precedent‑Based Docmosis API Keys
Precedent Template Manage multiple Docmosis API keys and assign them per precedent template.
If you are a client that utilizes multiple Docmosis environment that need to interact with one shared Unity Org, this new feature allows to to nominate which Docmosis environment each Precedent template should connect to in your Unity Org.
|
For Administrators: If you want to use this feature as a client with multiple Docmosis environments, you will need to note your Docmosis API Key (available in your Docmosis Environment). Client Administrators can refer to the Tango Guide here for steps to implement. |
