How can I assign or manage User Permission Sets?
You can assign Permission Sets from the User page or managing assignments from the Permission Set list.
Method 1: Assign Permission Sets from the User page.
We first need to go to Setup via the gear icon on the top right of the page.
Search for Users in the Quick Find box the select this option on the left hand side to view the full list then click on the User you need to edit.
You can view the permission set assignments by hovering over the quick link at the top of the page or click here to view the full list.
Click on Edit Assignments to add or remove permission sets from the user as needed.
Method 2: Mange User Assignments from the Assign Permission Sets from the User page.
From Setup, search for Permission Sets and select this option to view the full list.
Click on the permission set you need to edit and select Manage Assignments.
This page will show you the current assignments for the permission set and you can add or remove users as needed.
You may also set an expiry date for the permission so it is automatically removed after a specified date or time period. After this step, click on Assign to finalise this process.
