DESCRIPTION

This article is written with step-by-step Instructions to Update correct sequence number in Key instance for the Safe Custody Document.

NOTE: Please ask an Open Practice Admin user or check if you have access to the instructed programs.

STEPS TO FOLLOW

PART A | Copy latest Key ID

1. Go to Open Practice search bar (top find 🔍 icon)

2. Find Safe Custody Document Maintenance (MAREGENT) program 

3. Click on search icon in Key instance

4. Click on Filter

5. Select Remove ALL Filtering

6. Scroll to the end of the Register Enquiry by Id list

7. Select the latest ID/Client key

8. Copy the ID/Key number (e.g. 40)
 
 
PART B | Update Key ID in System Setup

1. Go to Open Practice search bar (top find 🔍 icon)

2. Find System Setup (SYCONTRL) program 

3. Click on Next Numbers option (left pane)

4. Select Next Numbers (left pane)

5. Paste the Copied Key number (e.g. 40) in Next Register Document field

6. Update the Key number with next Sequence number (e.g. 41)

7. Click Green Tick ✅️ icon to Save and Clear
 
 
NOTE: Once you update System Setup program, it will apply for ALL Open Practice Users.
