How do I change my password in Unity Search?
This article outlines the step-by-step process on how to login to your Unity Search account and how to change/update your password. When you receive your temporary password on your first login, we recommend that you update your password to a secure and a unique one.
Pre-requisite:
- You will be required to know the URL to login to Unity Search
- You will require either:
- Your Username and Temporary password for Unity Search; OR
- If your organisation uses SSO on Unity Search, you will need your email credentials
Your Login Details
If your organisation does not use SSO, your login details will be provided via email. This includes the link to login, your username and temporary password to Unity Search. Please contact us immediately if this expires so we can generate a new one for you, or click Forgot password? to receive a new temporary password via email.

Type in your username and password on the login screen to proceed, or click Continue with SSO (whichever is relevant):
Once you have successfully logged in, below will be your home page interface. Hover to Change User Password in the My HQ drop-down to update your credentials if you are not using SSO:
This will prompt you to the page below which requires your to re-login after selecting Continue:
The below screen will then appear, prompting you to enter a new password:
Once you have entered your new password and clicked Continue, you will be redirected back to the Unity Search Home Page.
You have successfully changed your password. We recommend updating your password every 90 days.
