What is the turnaround time for my certificate?

The turnaround time is listed for each property certificate on the relevant State’s property certificate page, under the heading 'Authority Advertised'. The value assigned to each certificate indicates business days; i.e., '5' represents five business days from the time the search is ordered.

The 'Expected Delivery' is the average turnaround time relative to that product. In some instances, this number may be lower than the Authority Advertised turnaround time. We strongly encourage our customers to work under the assumption that the Authority Advertised is the more accurate figure, and to consider this turnaround time when conducting your searches. 

Once an order has been placed, you can check the Status and the Due Date of the order, by selecting Order Manager from the banner at the top of the Search Manager page. Select the relevant matter, look on the right hand side of the screen:

The Due Date will populate according to the Authority Advertised turnaround time.
