History Archiving
Matter field history records can now be automatically archived and retained within the File Maintenance Audit Trail. Historically, Matter Field Changes History information was automatically removed after 18 months, this enhancement ensures that the Matter Field Changes history is kept beyond 18 months and can be accessed via the Fiel Maintenance Audit Trail Report.

Fee Estimate Items
If you are a client that uses Itemized Fixed Fee billing, the Fee Estimates feature can now support Fee Estimate Items using Products and Price Books, giving you greater flexibility and consistency when building estimates.
This new feature is optional but will require a billable professional service to configure for best practice with your current billing processes. To explore this feature further, please contact unitypmsupport@dyedurham.com to initiate a consultation.

Trust Statements: Display Process Date for Withdrawals
This enhancement has been enabled for Clients that require additional information on their Trust Statements.
Important Note: This is not a Trust Compliance requirement and is an “opt-in” change only if additional date information is desired within your Trust Statements.
Trust statements and withdrawal records can now include a dedicated column that:
- Shows only the Transaction Date when Transaction Date = Created Date
- Otherwise displays both dates

Protected Funds Display on Bulk EFT / CTO
If you are Client that uses the Protected Funds functionality, a new “Protected Funds” column has been added to the Bulk EFT page, showing protected funds for each related matter in the user’s local currency format. This enables ease of visibility on Funds that may need to be unprotected.

Pre‑Bill to Invoice Conversion
If you are a client that uses the Pre-Bill functionality, this change will restrict the invoices that are produced to pull information only from their originating pre-bills.
Now, when converting a Pre‑Bill to an invoice, only time entries associated with that specific Pre‑Bill will be included.

Anticipated Disbursement Option on the Disbursement creation page
If you are a client that manages “Anticipated Disbursements”, you can now mark a disbursement as Anticipated using a new toggle available directly on the Disbursement creation page.
Historically, disbursements needed to be saved before then being edited to nominate that item was an Anticipated Disbursement, this enhancement allows users to nominate a disbursement as “Anticipated” during the creation process.

New “Matter Summary” Column in Pre‑Billing
For clients that utilize the Pre-Bill functionality, this enhancement has enabled a new Matter Summary column (next to the Client column) which helps users quickly understand each matter’s context when reviewing or preparing Pre‑Bills.

Alphabetical Sorting of Branches
For Clients that have multiple branches associated with their Matters. This enhancement to the Professional Overview Report, allows the branch selection list to display in alphabetical order, making large lists easier to navigate and save time.

Disbursement Write‑Off Permission Enhancements
For client that uses the Pre-Bill functionality, a validation rule now prevents users without the proper permission from writing off disbursements directly from the Pre‑Bill screen.

ABN/ACN Fields for Business Accounts
For clients that require ABN and ACN details to be recorded for Business Accounts for CRM purposes and enable merge codes for precedent templates that require ABN and ACN details generated.
Historically, there has been no standard fields to record ABN and ACN details against a Business account. This enhancement allows users to enter these fields when creating Business Accounts, ensuring complete and accurate business identification records.

Consolidated Time Entries WIP Calculation
Previously, customers with locked down matters have their WIP calculated depending only on what their Fee Earner can see, essentially excluding WIP recorded by other Fee Earners if they don’t have access to them.
This update ensures that WIP is calculated correctly on a Matter level, regardless of what is visible to the Fee Earner, for more accurate reporting.
