Batch Billing is a function that allows users to bill Time Entries and Disbursements in bulk when they are ready for invoicing.
Note: Please check internally before proceeding if your firm uses Batch Billing or Batch Pre-Billing to generate invoices.
Batch Billing Process
Navigate to the Batch Billing page via the App Launcher or Console List.
The Batch Billing page contains multiple filter options for you to search for matters ready for billing. Enter your search criteria then click Filter to show results.
All matters that match your criteria will appear, including their Time Entries and Disbursements.
The Lock Entries and Unlock Entries buttons will tick/untick all items for billing. From here, you can click Bill to generate the invoice.
Alternatively, you can click Edit Entries to make line item changes or select specific items for invoicing.
Editing the Invoice Amount field lets you write up/down the specific entry for billing.
Click the pen icon to make edits and Save to finalise changes.
You can view the Total Professional Fees (ex GST.) to be billed in the new invoice. Click Bill to generate the invoice for all items selected. When Bill is selected, this will create the invoice with all the selected Time Entries and Disbursements and any modifications.
